While many of businesses have started to grow in this venue, this is the only one that has actually taken roots and stayed for years. This is a tiny, quaint establishment that is only capable of seating a couple of people at a time, so count on getting carry out when you come here. This place is called on Sunday, though, so try to work your schedule around that or expect some disappointment. The chicken is cooked perfectly here...where else can you enjoy fried chicken that looks like a true KFC commercial? The corn bread here is deep fried, and that's a new way to enjoy that sweet treat. MB's Tasty Pastries is a bakery with a ton to offer. While we're used to the bakeries that strictly serve up sweets to their patrons, we're infatuated with this bakery because they specialize in savory pastries, or pasties. However, that doesn't mean that they're not killing the pie game, because they certainly are. We love their mini pies, as they make us feel a little bit better about consuming fried pastry treats filled with sugar. They have weird hours here, so be sure to do some research before you step in. We know you're going to love the famous apple pie.
